The Chicago Bulls’ 72-10 regular-season record from 1995-96 remains the best single-season mark in NBA history.
The roster finished No. 1 in offensive rating (115.2) and No. 1 in defensive rating (101.8).
Michael Jordan was at the peak of his powers: averaging 30.4 points (on 49.5 percent shooting from the field and 42.7 percent from long range), 6.6 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 2.2 steals per game. Chicago also had arguably the best coach of all time in Phil Jackson.
Throw in a championship as the icing on the cake and this is debatably the best NBA season ever—certainly the best from the Bulls franchise.
