Mcphearson Drops 40 in a loss for the (JT Focus Mgt) Cleveland Am Proers sponsored by (Leff Electric) - Dec 5, 2012
Sunday December 2, 2012 (JT Focus Mgt) Cleveland Am Pro'ers sponsored by (Leff Electric) loses to Indiana State Warriors 141 - 129
Cleveland Am Pro'ers who added 5 new players to the mix for the first time this season faced an Indiana St. Warriors team that was in attack mode from the beginning of the game. After being down 22 at one point, the Cleveland Am Pro'ers fought back and cut the lead to 2 pts, with 5 minutes remaining in the game. But with no player taller than 62 the Indiana St. Warriors continued to attack the basket and finish at the front of the rim or driving, kicking, and making three point jump shots.
The Cleveland Am Pro'ers were led by Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson) who finished with 40 pts 6 rebs 5 ast. Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson) is averaging 30 ppg in the ABA so far and is continuing his scoring effort regardless of who else is out there playing with him. Eric McPherson (6'3''-G-86, college: Lindsey Wilson) a 6'2" combo guard who starred at Vermilion CC and Lindsey Wilson college should not be with the Cleveland Am Pro'ers much longer, he should definitely be headed overseas, to fill some team's void.
Cleveland Am Pro'ers recent addition Emmanuel Jackson (6'2''-G-86, college: Seton Hill) added 35 pts 5 rebs 4 ast. Darvel Harris (5'6''-G-83) added 11 pts 5 rebs. Canton, Ohio native Darrell Parker (6'2''-G-87) contributed 16 pts 6 rebs 2 ast. Local Cleveland Ohio Product Stephan Brown added 22 pts 4 rebs.
The Indiana St. Warriors were led by Deshaun Wright who totaled 38 pts. Cordeo Bennett added 26 pts. Kyle Smith added 15 pts.
The Cleveland Am Pro'ers next game is this Saturday in Chicago, vs the Chicago Steam!!
