Toronto Raptors fans may be partial to the 2013-14 squad that won 48 games behind the backcourt play from Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan, but dropping a first-round playoff series to the Brooklyn Nets wasn’t ideal.
Instead, the only Raptors team to ever reach the Eastern Conference Semifinals gets the honor of gracing this list. That is, the 2000-01 roster headlined by “Air Canada,” “Half-Man/Half-Amazing,” “Vinsanity”: Vince Carter.
VC averaged 27.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game that season, guiding Toronto to a 47-35 finish under head coach Lenny Wilkens. The Raps eventually lost a tough seven-game series against Allen Iverson and the eventual Eastern Conference champion 76ers in the second round.
