released its Power Rankings through Sunday, February 2nd, and the
Shreveport/Bossier Mavericks and Jacksonville Giants continued to set
the pace as the #1 and #2 teams in the ABA. “We’re heading towards an
inevitable showdown in the ABA playoffs,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.
“But there are quite a few other teams that have their eyes on the
Championship and cannot wait to make the challenge in Shreveport in
April.”
