NO CHANGE IN ABA POWER RANKINGS, MAVERICKS STILL ON TOP

Indianapolis, IN.  The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abalive.com today released its Power Rankings through Sunday, January 26th and the Shreveport/Bossier Mavericks maintained a slim lead over the defending ABA Champion Jacksonville Giants as the number one team.  “These teams have not met one another during the regular season,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “And it appears that they won’t meet until the playoffs which should make it very exciting…though there are quite a few teams that will be strong

competition come playoff time for the Championship.”
