Raptors 905 (32-11) dominated the Austin Spurs (19-23), 116-87, Monday afternoon in front of 18,099 fans at Air Canada Centre.  The attendance for this afternoon’s contest established a new NBA D-League attendance record, previously held by the Oklahoma City Blue, who drew 17,497 fans to the Chesapeake Energy Arena on March 3, 2017.   Brady Heslip scored a game-high 33 points for Raptors 905, who also received 20-point contributions from Will Sheehey and Toronto Raptors assignee Pascal Siakam.
A back-and-forth quarter started the game, with eight lead changes in the opening 12 minutes.  Raptors 905 led after one, benefitting from eight-point efforts in the quarter from Heslip and Jakob Poeltl.  Cory Jefferson responded for the Spurs scoring 11 points in the frame.
Raptors 905 would edge the Spurs again in the second quarter, outscoring Austin 25-21. Sheehey provided a spark off the bench, scoring eight points to lead the 905, a total matched by Charles Garcia for the Spurs, who went into the break trailing 54-48.
Coming out of halftime, Heslip caught fire in the third quarter, scoring 15 points while shooting four-for-four from three-point range.  Axel Toupane and Siakam both chipped in seven points for the 905, propelling the team to a 23-point lead headed into the fourth.
Raptors 905 continue to control play in the fourth quarter, Sheehey scoring 12 points to pace the 905 and secure the victory.  Daniel Nwaelele scored eight points for the Spurs who fell to 19-23 this season.
